Grief is not
a problem to fix.
I’ll sit with
you in it.
When we experience loss, it is easy to feel as though an unwelcome guest has come into our life. Grief can place a pall over our worlds, clarifying our priorities and putting us face to face with inner work in new ways.
In our current collective reality, this work is pushed to the side and stuffed deep down into our unconscious mind in an effort to "return to normal," and "maintain productivity."
I want to witness this work, this process, and create a space where we can look unblinkingly at how our lives and hearts are changed by grief.
I want to walk with you, as you face life rattling change, unafraid of your own depths. Together we learn to be fearless and unashamed of the totality of our experience.
Grief Dwellings:
For those who have lost loved ones.
Grief can place a pall over our worlds, clarifying our priorities and putting us face to face with inner work in new ways. As we continue to navigate the flair ups of despair, longing, anger, disappointment, and heartbreak throughout the rest of our lives, we can hold and acknowledge that these feelings have a home within us. They are visitors that keep us connected to what has been lost, and inform our everyday life. Grief Dwellings is a series of three 1:1 sessions aimed at finding a home for grief in the body and mind. I look forward to hearing your stories, honoring your vulnerability, and creating space for grief to live in your life without shame or urgency.
Each session is 50 minutes.
Generalized
Grief Support
For those who haven't experienced a recent death, but are still struggling with feelings around loss and change, generalized grief support is a place for you to unearth that which burdens you. Generalized grief support is a series of four 1:1 sessions where we give attention to the most pressing griefs, find ways to validate our own experience, and create tools to help us better hold ourselves in moments of activation and distress.
Each session is 50 minutes.
Single
Vent Session
Sometimes you just need to be seen in your grief in a moment of turmoil. These single sessions provide dedicated time for you to unburden yourself without rigorous questioning or feedback. And open, non-judgemental space for you to be seen in exactly what is showing up without the pressure of holding one single narrative. Need to tell someone what grandma said at the funeral? To describe how it felt to pack up a loved one's clothes after death, or move out of an apartment with a long term partner? This might be a fit for you.
Each session is 50 minutes.
From people
I’ve sat with.
There are a million reasons why sharing the load of your grief can be supportive as you navigate big transitions in your life. But don’t just take my word for it. Here are testimonials from folks I’ve walked through the fire alongside.
“Victoria worked with me to process my dad's sudden and unexpected death from stage IV pancreatic cancer during the height of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns. Her exceptional intelligence, warmth, and empathy was evident throughout her work with me, but what I didn't expect was how much examining that stuck grief would help me understand myself, my family of origin, my role as a parent, and my place in the world. I do not say this lightly—it was a transformational experience. I could not recommend the experience more highly. (Also she is hilarious.)”
— Lizzie P.“Working with Victoria was a profound experience in talking about the loss of my incredible brother. Her compassionate presence and gentle guidance provided immense comfort and clarity as I navigated my grief. From the moment we connected, Victoria created a safe space for me to express my emotions and guilt surrounding my brother's tragic accident. She listened attentively, offering insights and practical advice that helped me better understand my grief and realize it was ok not to be ok. Throughout the entire journey, Victoria remained a steady source of comfort and strength. Her presence was truly transformative, providing a sense of peace I knew I needed and deserved. I wholeheartedly recommend Victoria to anyone in need of support and guidance during life's most difficult challenges.”
— Wendy M.“My work with Victoria after a miscarriage, which caused emotions to surface about the death of my ex boyfriend years back, was everything I needed it to be. I'd never sought out therapy before in fear that I wouldn’t be able to find someone I vibed with and would end up feeling maybe even worse if that happened, but as a birth doula hearing about a death doula in the community, I felt comfortable that she would speak my language and provide the type of support I needed. She listened and asked questions in a way that gave me so much space to release what wanted to come out for so many years. She is so genuine and loving in her support and I cannot recommend her enough if you’re experiencing grief in any form.”
